The sensor consists of a tube that surrounds the lens. One end of the tube is embedded inside the eye and the other end holds the balloon. A warning about the sensor, of course, is only for those cases with intraocular lens implantation (usually used for cataract repair surgery), which will only benefit a limited number of people.
