3D printing: the benefits of hair loss patients come

Recently, Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories (CRLab), a hair loss research laboratory in Bologna, Italy, developed a method for customizing 3D printed fake scalp and wigs by introducing 3D printing technology.

It is understood that Dr. Alan J. Bauman of CRLab, the world's leading hair loss expert, presented their technical achievements at the recent International Alopecia Conference. The conference included 15 of the most well-known doctors, scholars, and more than 150 patients in the field of hair loss research. This included Dr. Bauman, a patient presented as a case in his presentation. Ivory suffers from scarring alopecia, and she recently accepted a novel hair repair method that involves trial wearing a CNC 3D printed hair and scalp prosthesis device.

According to Dr. Bauman, the CRLab method starts with a 3D scan of the patient's skull, and then builds a mold based on this and pays careful attention to the location of the hair loss. Since the 3D scan and measurement data can be sent electronically to the CRLab in Italy, the patient does not even have to be present in person.
