Laboratory prerequisites for installing direct reading spectrometers

1. Direct reading spectrometer laboratory room environment requirements:
The size of the 1 room should be moderate, too small, crowded, too large, and the room temperature is not well controlled.
2 Require that you keep away from the source or install the instrument on the basis of earthquake prevention.
3 The environment is better, the dust should be small, and it should be kept away from chemical corrosive gases. The instrument should be protected from direct sunlight and away from the vents (cold or hot vents).
4 The ambient temperature in the laboratory is generally 15-25 °C. If the instrument is kept working normally, the change of laboratory temperature should not be too large. Under normal circumstances, the change per hour is not more than 2 °C, and the daily temperature change does not exceed 10 °C. Within this temperature range, the stability and data quality of the instrument are ensured. Large amounts of air flow should be avoided (away from the vents). Air-conditioning fans should not be blown directly to the instrument. Avoid direct sunlight to the instrument, as this may cause data drift. Under normal circumstances, due to the temperature difference between the laboratory and the morning and evening, the temperature of the direct sunlight, the start of the air conditioner, etc., the temperature drift will be changed, and attention should be paid during the temperature control process.
5 Laboratory humidity is the same as temperature, which will affect the operation and stability of the instrument. Relative humidity is usually required to be controlled within 20 to 70%, but it must be non-condensing. The user should be equipped with a hygrometer to monitor the relative humidity of the laboratory to prevent moisture condensation and damage to the instrument circuitry. Areas with high humidity require a dehumidifier according to the room size.
2. The purity of argon supply must reach 99.99% or more.
The purity of the gas will directly affect the analytical quality of the sample. If the gas contains more impurities, the stability of the excitation will be greatly reduced, and the parallelism and reproducibility of the measurement will be deteriorated. Therefore, users are strongly recommended to use high purity argon, otherwise it will bring unnecessary trouble to the analysis. If the user purchases high purity argon gas is difficult, an argon purifier must be equipped. In addition, the amount of argon gas used in the instrument is small, the actual consumption is not large, and the analysis cost is not increased. Some gas stations in the place can't move and say that their argon is 5 or more. In fact, many of the three 9 are not available. If the instrument suddenly has poor precision and stability, consider the purity of argon.
3, power supply:
Power supply for direct reading spectrometer: Single-phase power supply with ACl98-240V50HZ for 3KVA for spectrometer. There is also an AC380V power supply for air conditioners and grinding machines.
In order to ensure the analytical accuracy of the instrument, the power input to the laboratory should be connected to the AC voltage regulator, and its output voltage is connected to the direct reading spectroscopy instrument.
4, ground wire:
Connect the ground wire to ensure safe operation. In order to prevent electrical interference, the direct reading spectrometer should be grounded and protected, with a grounding wire and a grounding resistance of less than 6 ohms. It is recommended to use a copper tube or a copper rod with a diameter of 80 mm or more and a length of 2 m or more as a grounding conductor. When burying, add appropriate amount of salt and charcoal around the grounding conductor. The ground cable that comes with the instrument should be connected to the grounding conductor. Minimize bending when introducing instruments. When it is necessary to bend, the radius of curvature is as large as possible.
