Pomegranate ( Punica granatum L ; called inhmn in ancient Egypt) is grown in southwestern Asia and cultivated in countries along the Mediterranean coast. Pomegranate is a deciduous shrub or flower that is a reddish and fragrant tree. It then grows into a hard, slightly yellowish or reddish fruit with bright red seeds. At least 14 different varieties of pomegranate are grown in different parts of the Indian subcontinent, including Arakta, Dholka, G 137, Ganesh, Jyoti, Kabul, Kand hari, Mrudula, Muskat, P23, P26 and Ruby. According to reports, the vitamin content of pomegranate is "quite amazing", so it has always been at the top of the list of vitamin-rich fruits. Studies have shown that pomegranate peel extract has dual antioxidant properties and can be used as a biopreservative in food applications and as a nutraceutical.
In this application, we apply water-soluble vitamins such as ascorbic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, cyanocobalamin and quercetin flavonoids in pomegranate aril juices, peels and commercially available juices.
