How to Disinfection with Lime

1. Preparation of lime milk Take 1 kg of lime plus 1 liter of water-reducing water (refers to the operation of quicklime and water-shaped mature lime). Form mature lime. Add the resulting hydrated lime to a suitable amount of water to obtain 10% lime milk. 2. Disinfection method Walls of livestock and poultry pens should be brushed with 1 litre of 10% lime milk for 1~3 times per square meter; fresh and matured lime powder can be used to spread roads, grounds and sewage in livestock and poultry habitat and foraging sites. Ditch and dung around. Because the cement floor is too dry, lime powder has little effect. 3. Precautions (1) Quicklime must be ready for use. If it is used for a long time, it will degenerate and lose its sterilizing effect. (2) If lime contains impurities, it may cause combustion and explosion in the process of elimination; (3) The quicklime meets water. Disinfection will occur, and it will be scattered on dry ground directly without disinfection; (4) Before disinfecting quicklime, a garbage disposal site shall be cleaned. The garbage that has been cleared out is to be contaminated, with 20% milk of lime poured for disinfecting to prevent the spread of germs in the garbage.
