"Food Safety Law" revision will be held in Beijing

On July 26, the Food Safety Law Institute of the Law School of the People's University of China held a seminar on the revision of the Food Safety Law. Many related experts from various disciplines such as constitutional science, administrative law, jurisprudence, civil law, criminal law, procedural law, and international law attended the conference. Professor Hu Jinguang, Vice President of the School of Law at the National People's Congress and Director of the Institute of Food Safety Law presided over the meeting.

Han Dayuan, dean of the Law School of the National People's Congress, attended the meeting and pointed out that the National People's University Law School has identified the “Food Safety Governance” as a major comprehensive topic in accordance with the requirements of “Need for Urgent Needs, Collaborative Innovation, and Problem-Oriented” and will actively join other organizations and related disciplines. Integrate various kinds of resources inside and outside the school, make concerted efforts to tackle the problem collectively, establish China's largest food safety legislation and public policy think tank, and contribute its own greatest strength to people's lives and national development.
