The mixture of low-density and high-density areas with clear boundaries on CT was defined as a “mixed sign†and a CT “mixed sign†was proposed as a method for predicting hematoma enlargement. This method is easy to use and has high specificity in predicting hematoma enlargement. This study was validated by Harvard University's Massachusetts General Hospital professor and Harvard University's Massachusetts Institute of General Hospital for nearly a thousand patients over the past 10 years, confirming that this sign can accurately predict the trend of cerebral hemorrhage in clinical practice.
